Adding Panels

In RedArrow, the "Panel" refers to the substances tested for by laboratory analysis process. Although the substances make up the panel, RedArrow creates a record in the system representing the panel. For example, the panel code "SAMSHA" might represent the various substances tested such as Cocaine, Amphetamines, MDMA, MDA, Opiates, etc.

For those downloading results electronically, it's ideal to have your various panel codes entered into the system, however the substances tested by the lab or MRO may be electronically imported with the test record data such that the downloaded data populates the test record as opposed to the substances you have associated to the panel. For those manually entering in test records, you can have the system populate all substances associated the panel.

Note: Although POCT or instant tests also test a "panel" of drugs those substances are associated to the "Device" as opposed to a stand alone panel.
